All northbound lanes of Highway 101 on the Golden Gate Bridge have reopened after a two-vehicle crash at the bridge's midspan shut down traffic for more than an hour Tuesday morning.
California Highway Patrol officers were called to the crash shortly after 6:10 a.m. Officials described it as an injury crash but have not said how many people were hurt or how badly.
All lanes were open by about 7:30 a.m., according to 511 SF Bay. Drivers should still expect residual delays.
The left lane of southbound 101 was also closed for a time, backing traffic up to Spencer Avenue around 7 a.m., according to ABC7.
MBP News reporter Malek Banoun, who was stuck in the northbound backup for about an hour, said drivers waited quietly.
